Bone and Pot Steamboat Kelana Jaya

Bone and Pot Steamboat at Kelana Jaya was a new steamboat place recently opened around the area. Since it’s opening and countless times passing it on my way back, me and Ariel would notice patrons waiting outside the place.

Ariel and her colleagues went there for dinner one night and her report back to me was that it was delish. Therefore, it was time to break my Bone and Pot Steamboat virginity. It was also natural for me to compare it with places I’ve been for steamboat like Tasty Pot and the restaurant nearby my place.

We arrived there after 6pm and waited less than 10 minutes before seating. But I noticed the crowd really coming after 8pm onwards. So, if you plan on eating here, come earlier because there aren’t many tables on the ground floor. Onward to food!

Famous pork broth

Pardon the additional watercress vegetable and some additions because I only took photos after we were a quarter into the food. LOL!

Needle mushrooms wrapped with chicken and slices of beef
Fried bean curd was the bomb!

Ariel told me this was the best Bone and Pot Steamboat dish she had at the time. And I must concur! You could definitely eat this alone with rice for a meal. It’s fried to a crisp leaving a very soft crusty shell and its inside is so soft – almost like tofu. The picture is half the portion that’s left after wallop by me and Ariel. 😛

In comparison to Tasty Pot and the other place, I felt the food here was fresher and more tasty. Only disadvantages to Bone and Pot Steamboat unfortunately is that their variety wouldn’t be as vast and their prices are a little on the high.

Nonetheless, a definite recommendation if you’re gunning for some good steamboat dining. 🙂
