Me – Captured on video

Never before have I stepped in front of the camera. And stayed there. Normally, I’d be the person behind my ol Canon 400D snapping away. But I suppose there’s always a first for everything – go-kart for instance.

Okay. I may not have conquered my fear of heights, but I still consider this a big step for myself this year. With the support from my friends, I’d like to kickoff an initiative to talk about the gaming scene. Personally, I’m more comfortable with the First-Person Shooter (FPS) environment but again, there’s a first for everything. Thus, allow me to introduce you, Gamescoop.

I know right. “What’s with the hands?” OMGROFL! Well, I guess that’s what happens when you actually watch yourself for the first time.

And if you’re a seasoned host or a natural, please do share some pointers with me. I’d love to upgrade my presentation skills +10 Level higher. 🙂

Gamescoop

Okay. I can’t say TV host or game show host and show host sounds a little weird, because this isn’t a show. Apart from that, this was a video me and my friends wanted to try doing. By the way, I didn’t volunteer to be the host!

So anyway. We were discussing over mamak one night on videos we’ve seen on YouTube where there’s a person (normally a hot chick) talking about a game. It intrigued us to find out how hard it would be to create a video like it.

Thankfully, we got the opportunity to attend the Maple Story event. Some would call it their big break, for us, it was either that or filming at one of my friend’s house while he played. Thank goodness!

The video was edited by one of my friends. And because we agreed a show needs a name, we just went along with Gamescoop.
