I’ve gotten through a week of keeping my promise to myself that I would wake up earlier and spend 30 minutes working out. Hooray!
A different feeling
And I’ve noticed since injecting this into my schedule, I feel my personal energy (some refer to it as aura) has improved. I don’t feel as lethargic and even if I did a little, after working out my 30 minutes, I feel more aware and relaxed at the same time.
On the other hand, I’m starting to feel some challenges as well. Mostly during the past 2-3 days, I’ve had thoughts of “should I sleep a little more” or worst, “should I skip today and replace it later”.
While some may feel it’s okay to skip and replace, I’m trying to not start because I’m worried it’ll lead to…what’s that word again…delay, no…damnit, what was it…ah yes! Procrastinate! It would lead to procrastination and I’ll end up not doing it later.
Well, I hope to turn a week into a month, soon into a normal routine for me or even increase my workout intensity from walking to jogging to running and doing more or faster ab workouts.
Time will tell. We’ve 358 days more to go!
